Alpine Shine works as a co-host on your existing Airbnb listing, giving owners reliable local support while they stay in control of their account.
Your listing stays yours. You keep access, ownership and visibility, while we help with the everyday parts of hosting that can be difficult to manage when you are busy or away from Wānaka.
Before we get started
Our co-hosting service is designed for properties that are already set up on Airbnb.
This means your Airbnb account and listing need to be created and ready before we come on board.
We do not create new Airbnb accounts or listings from scratch. Once your property is set up, you can add Alpine Shine as a co-host and we can agree on the areas you would like us to help with.

Guest Communication
We help respond to guest messages and enquiries, keeping communication clear before and during their stay.

Check In Coordination
We help make sure guests have the information they need for a smooth arrival and that the property is ready for them.

If something comes up during a stay, we can help deal with it locally, organise what is needed and keep you informed.

Guest Support & Urgent Assistance
If something unexpected comes up during a guest's stay, we are here locally to help.
Whether a guest is locked out, needs access to the property or something needs attention at short notice, we can step in, help sort it out and keep the owner informed.

Property Oversight
Because we are here in Wānaka, we can keep an eye on the property between stays and let you know if we notice damage, maintenance concerns or anything that needs attention.

Turnovers & Presentation
We can coordinate cleaning, linen and final presentation so the property is ready for the next guests.

Waste & Recycling
We keep track of local collection days, put the right bins out and bring them back in after collection, so you don't have to think about bin day when you're away from the property.

We keep communication straightforward so you know what is happening with your property without unnecessary back and forth.
Why Boutique?
Our boutique management service is intentionally kept small, so we can give each property the time, attention and local care it deserves.
We only take on a limited number of homes, which means we get to know each property, the owner's preferences and the way each Airbnb needs to run.
For us, boutique means personal, selective and hands on.
You stay in control
You keep control of your Airbnb account and listing. We work alongside you as your local co-host, helping with the parts of hosting that need someone reliable on the ground.
If there are areas you prefer to manage yourself, that is completely fine. We can agree on what you would like help with and what you prefer to keep in your hands.
